Born Dec 2006.   Mature 17.1hh. Grey (born chestnut) gelding.   

“Scooter” is a tall elegant roan (going dapple grey) gelding and he has the biiig beautiful smooth strides to go with his size. He is out of the elegant anglo show mare, Jayselle Shene and by the imported Weltmeyer stallion - Rituel. After winning the prestigious Champion of Champions award at the 1999 Australian Young Dressage Horse Championships, Rituel represented Australia at the 2000 World Championships for Young Horses. 

He had a hard first week of life, needing two plasma transfusions and antibiotics, as his first IGG test showed an extremely low count for antibodies due to his dam losing the colostrum before his birth. Luckily the early medical intervention prevented him developing any infections. He was born on about the only rainy day we had that summer, hence his name. 

Scooter has grown into a very gentle giant who loves attention and really looks forward to his training sessions. His breaking in went very smoothly and he shows beautiful paces and manners. He is forward and responsive under saddle and I am thrilled with how he has developed.
