Born Oct 2006.   Expected to mature 16.3hh. Bay gelding, white sock and star. 

 “Gonzo” is a very handsome Warmblood gelding by the well performed Queensland sire, Welt’s Emporer (Weltmeyer/Salute). He is out of Satisfaction, our broodmare by Kilof McOhl. He is a powerful horse with extravagant movement but very friendly and gentle to handle.  

He wasn’t the brightest foal ever born (took simply ages to work out where the milkbar was) which is why he was christened Gonzo. But he has taken to his training with a wonderful ‘can-do’ attitude that has impressed his trainer and bodes very well for his future career under saddle. He is forward and responsive to the aides and demonstrates good natural balance under his rider. He steps well through from behind and has a lovely, strong, swinging back.
