Born Dec 2010. Expected to mature 17.0hh+. Mahogany bay WB colt, 4 white stockings and blaze.

Fabio was born quite unexpectedly, over 2 weeks early! Maiden mares are hard to predict and Callista certainly caught me unawares…. But everything went well with the birth and Fabio was a very big and strong foal - but he just could not get the hang of where the milkbar was located. So after a frustrating few hours it was time to call the vet to stomach tube some colostrum into him so that we had some extra time to help him work it out. This worked well and by the next morning he had the drinking business all sorted – thankfully.

As his outstanding bloodlines would suggest, Fabio is developing into an ideal example of the modern dressage horse. He is tall and elegant, very up in front and with powerful hindquarters that give him some pretty awesome movement. He has a friendly confident temperament that is full of character and he is very very trainable.

His spectacular colouring will also give him an added edge in the competition arena – what more could the serious competitor want in a young horse!
