Rothschild  Foals

Born Dec 2012. Expected to mature approx 16.2 - 17h. Liver chestnut colt, 2 white socks, 1 stocking and blaze.  

Spider was born 10 days before his due date, but as usual Mardi foaled down with no problems at all. He is an exceedingly cute foal and its a delight to watch him playing and zooming athletically around the paddock. His movement is so light and elevated that he barely appears to touch the ground and his canter is just awesome!! He has a beautifully elegant head and front, with a powerhouse of a back end that already demonstrates enviable natural engagement behind. 

Like all of Mardi’s foals he has a superb temperament, so friendly, confident and agreeable to handle. At 2 weeks old he is already easy to catch and lead. As he grows his handling will continue, to include tieing up, trimming, rugging and float loading.
